Home and My classes
Home shows what needs you right now. My classes shows what each kid is enrolled in and their week, one week at a time. Tap any class on either screen to see its details and what you can do about it.
What’s on Home
From top to bottom:
- The one thing that needs you. If the studio is holding a waitlist spot for one of your kids, that’s first. Otherwise it’s your next class, with a Report an absence button (or a note that your child is checked in).
- From your studio: notes the studio chose to share with your family.
- Messages: the latest three messages from the studio. Tap See all for the rest.
- Missed classes to make up: classes your kids missed that you can still book a makeup for.
- Makeups & credits: how each missed class was settled, for example Makeup scheduled, Made up, Credited, or “The studio will schedule a makeup.”
- This week: every class for every kid over the next seven days.
- Your kids, Waitlists, and Recent check-ins. On a phone these are further down; on a computer they’re on the right.
What’s on My classes
- Enrolled: each kid’s weekly classes with the day, time, and instructor. Trial classes are marked Trial.
- The week: a strip of seven days. Use the arrows to move a week ahead or back, and tap a day to see only that day.
- If you have more than one child, tap a name at the top to see just that child, or All kids for everyone.
Classes can show a status, such as Checked in, Absence reported, Cancelled, Studio closed, Makeup, or Time or coach changed. Cancelled and closed classes stay on the list so you know why there’s no class.
Report an absence
Let the studio know ahead of time that your child will miss a class. It shows on the instructor’s roll right away.
Tap the class
Find it on Home or My classes and tap it.
Add a note (optional)
Type a reason in Note for the studio (optional), like “Sick” or “Family trip.”
Tap Report an absence
You’ll see “Absence reported. The studio sees it now.”
You can report an absence for today or any class day up to 60 days ahead. You can’t report one after your child is checked in.
Changed your mind? Tap the class again and tap Undo absence.
Book a makeup
When your child misses a group class (or the studio cancels it), you can book them into another class with an open seat.
Tap the missed class
It’s under Missed classes to make up on Home, or tap it on My classes.
Tap Book a makeup
You’ll see classes with open seats over the next 30 days, with the same kind of class listed first. Tap Show more classes to see the rest.
Tap Book next to the class you want
The makeup appears on your week, marked Makeup, and the studio sees it right away.
Makeups need to be booked within 60 days of the missed class. Private lessons are rescheduled by the studio, so you’ll see “The studio will schedule a makeup” instead of a Book a makeup button. If no class has an open seat, ask the studio.
To cancel a makeup before its day, tap it and tap Cancel makeup. You can then book a different one.
Accept a held waitlist spot
When a seat opens in a class your child is waitlisted for, the studio holds it for you for a limited time. It shows at the top of Home as Spot held for your child, with the time left.
- Tap Accept spot to enroll your child right away.
- Tap No thanks, then Pass on spot, to let it go. The next family on the waitlist is offered the seat, and you can join the waitlist again later.
If the time runs out, the spot goes to the next family.
