Phone orders from kids
A parent can let their child order at the stand from the child’s own phone. The child picks items and sends the order. It shows on the Concessions screen, the desk hands it over, and taps Done. Nothing is charged until then.
Owners, admins, and front desk staff handle phone orders. A parent turns ordering on for each child from Family → Kids’ access in the parent app, with the Snack bar switch. See Kids’ access.
What the child sees
On their phone, the Snack bar section lists your stand items. They tap what they want and tap Send order. If their parents set a weekly limit, it shows how much is left this week, and an order over the limit can’t be sent. If the parents turned the tab off, the child sees that instead.
While the order waits, their phone shows Waiting at the counter and tells them to show the screen at the stand. They can Cancel order until it’s handed over. A child can have one order waiting at a time.
Fill an order
Watch for Phone orders
Waiting orders show at the top of the Concessions screen, oldest first, with the child’s name, the items, and the total.
Hand it over
Tap Done
The order goes on the family’s bill now, and the child’s phone shows it as Picked up.
Spotter checks the parents’ rules again when you tap Done. If the tab was turned off or the order is now over the weekly limit, you’ll see why and nothing is charged.
Can’t fill it
Out of stock, or the child left? Tap Can’t fill. Nothing is charged, and the child’s phone shows Stand cancelled.
