Kids' accessOverview

Kids’ access

Kids’ access gives your child their own simple screen on their phone. They can check when their classes are and, if your studio runs a concession stand, order a snack on your tab. You decide what they get, one child at a time.

Your child doesn’t need an email address or a password. You sign their phone in with a one-time code, and it stays signed in until you sign it out.

What you can turn on

  • Schedule: their classes this week and what’s running at the studio today.
  • Snack bar: ordering at the concession stand on your tab, within your weekly limit. This only appears if your studio has a concession stand.

You can turn on one or both. Turning both off turns off their access completely.

What your child sees

With Schedule on:

  • Next up: their next class, with the day, time, and instructor.
  • My classes this week: their classes over the next seven days, including any that are cancelled or when the studio is closed.
  • Today at the studio: every group class meeting today, with times only. Their own classes are marked You.

With Snack bar on, they see the stand’s menu, what they have left this week, and their recent orders. See Order at the snack bar.

Privacy

  • Your child never sees other kids’ names. Today at the studio lists class names and times, never who’s in them. Private lessons aren’t listed.
  • Your child sees only what you turned on. Every screen checks your settings, so a change takes effect right away.
  • There are no analytics or screen recordings on the kids’ screens.
  • Turning access on is your consent, and Spotter keeps a record of who turned it on and when.
