Team bills
Event costs (routines, costumes, event fees) go on a team bill, separate from the monthly bill. Each bill has its own statement, amount due, and Pay button, so a parent can see that tuition is right without competition fees mixed in.
| Bill | Default name | What goes on it |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly bill | Classes | Tuition, makeup credits, items, desk fees |
| Team bill | Competition team (dance), Meet team (gym) | Everything billed from an event, plus team fees you add |
| Second team bill | None, you name it | Events you bill to the second team |
The team bill’s default name uses your studio’s word for a competition: a dance studio sees Competition team, a gym sees Meet team.
When families see a team bill
A family only sees a team bill once they have a charge or payment on it. Families with no event charges only ever see their monthly bill.
The team bill shows up for the desk once your studio has at least one event: the On menu in Charge and Credit, and the Pays for menu in Record payment, then let you pick it. Use it for tryout and season fees you add by hand.

Bill an event to the second team
Once the second team bill is on, every event has a Bill to menu with your two team bills. Pick the second team for events that belong to it. When you bill the event, its charges go on that bill.
- The second team bill is also in the desk’s On and Pays for menus, for fees you add by hand.
- A family only sees the second team’s bill if they have charges on it. A family that’s only on the competition team never sees the Pom bill.
- The parent app’s event list for a team bill shows only that team’s events.
- Once families have been billed for an event, you can’t move it to the other bill. Make a new event for the other team instead.
See Events for creating and billing events.
Paying a team bill
- In the parent app, each bill has its own Pay button.
- At the desk, choose the bill in Pays for when you record a payment, or pick a deposit on one line, like a solo or a costume.
- On autopay, the team bill is charged when the event is billed, or on the event’s Payment due date if that’s later. See Autopay and online payments.
