Getting started
Getting your studio running on Spotter takes four steps. You can do the first one in a minute, and the import from Jackrabbit takes about ten.
- Create your studio. Name it, pick what you teach, and set your time zone and first location.
- Invite your team. Owners, admins, front desk, and instructors each get the access their job needs.
- Bring your families over. Families, parents, and students come in from your Jackrabbit exports.
- Bring over classes and rosters. Your weekly schedule and who’s in each class.
Until you have classes, the Today page shows these same steps as a checklist with a check mark next to each one you’ve finished. Once classes are in, the checklist moves to the bottom of Today under Finish setting up until every step is done.
Spotter is invite-only while we work with our first studios. If you sign up and see You’re on the list., we’ll email you when your studio is ready. If your studio already uses Spotter, ask an owner to invite you instead.
Steps
Working at more than one studio
If you belong to more than one studio, click your studio’s name at the top of the sidebar to switch. The menu lists Your studios, with a check next to the one you’re in. If you’re also a parent at a studio, Parent view opens the parent app.
